**1. What is the mission?**

Our mission is to encourage developers and entrepreneurs to create innovative decentralized applications (DApps) that address real-world challenges and provide meaningful solutions in the domains of decentralized finance (DeFi), trading, and seamless on/off-ramp experiences. We aim to empower individuals by revolutionizing financial systems, promoting accessibility, and fostering a secure and inclusive financial landscape.

The participants need to push the boundaries of what is possible within the DeFi space, trading platforms, and bridging the gap between traditional finance and the decentralized world. We seek DApps that introduce novel financial products, protocols, and platforms, improving scalability, interoperability, governance, security, and inclusivity in decentralized finance.

**3. Submission Requirements**

1. RENEC based: the project must be built on the RENEC blockchain (mainnet or testnet)
2. Meaningful Contribution: the project can a brand new DApp or a existing DApp that cloned from other blockchain, as long as it is has a clear and innovative use case, with a potential for RENEC users
3. Open Source: while not all projects may require coding expertise, it is essential that the project is built with an open-source mindset, enabling others to learn from your experiences and knowledge.

**About Mina Protocol:**
Mina is the first native zero knowledge (ZK) blockchain and the world’s lightest blockchain, powered by participants. Rather than apply brute computing force, Mina uses advanced cryptography and recursive zk-SNARKs to design an entire blockchain that is about 22kb, the size of a couple of tweets. It is the first layer-1 to enable efficient implementation and easy programmability of zero knowledge smart contracts (zkApps). 

Mina’s zkApps are zero knowledge smart contracts which developers can use to easily and scalably program interoperability and user privacy natively into their dapps:
1. User privacy and more useful dapps
2. Infinite recursive composability of proofs, contracts and rollups
3. Constant verification cost no matter the computational complexity
4. Written in Typescript
